The sentence was 12 months of probation.

But probation didn’t last long. KCP’s probation agreement included multiple drug and alcohol tests, many which he missed. This is resulted in a 25-day jail sentence.

Caldwell-Pope served his time at the Seal Beach Police Department Detention Center in Southern California. Fortunately for KCP, he was under a work-release program that allowed him to leave the detention center to participate at practices and play games.
