Caron Butler Has Street Named After Him In Hometown

Published

on

Racine Mayor Cory Mason and Second District Alderman Mollie Jones have formally announced that the town’s 21st Street has officially been renamed to Caron Butler Drive, per source.

Caron Butler is a name that will live on in the NBA forever, as he could score, rebound, and was an elite perimeter defender.

Butler was only named to two all-star teams, but he was a valuable player to any team as he could always put up around 15-20 points on any given night.

However, this is not about the basketball talent that Butler had, but about him growing up in the rough neighborhood of Racine, Wisconsin.
