Without hesitation or second thoughts, Allen Iverson responded “Bro, you can have mine.” Thoughtlessly giving away a brand-new car worth nearly $250,000.
Another time, Allen Iverson had his Lamborghini Murcielago impounded by the Police after he was unable to provide proof that he owned the vehicle.
At this point, the money Iverson has blown, and his carless methods of saving were painful to hear, but what he said to the cops was just cringe. Especially since we know he ends up going bankrupt in the future.
According to the New York Daily News, Allen Iverson furiously said to the officers, “I will make more than you in 10 years, do you know who I am? Take the vehicle, I have 10 more.”
10 more??? He should have just given the cops one of his famous cash garbage bags while he was at it.
Little did Iverson know that he would go completely broke in 2012 and file for bankruptcy after being unable to pay a $900,000 debt to a Jeweler.
